Vegan Chocolate Donut with Matcha Glaze

Chocolate Donuts
- 1 Cup Spelt Flour
- ¼ Cup Coconut Sugar
- ¼ Cup Cocoa Powder
- ¼ Cup Almond Milk
- ½ Cup Apple Sauce
- 1 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1 Tsp Baking Soda
Matcha Glaze
- ½ Cup Melted White Chocolate
- ½ Tsp Culinary Matcha
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl combine the flour, coconut sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda.
One the dry ingredients are combined, next add n the almond milk and apple sauce. Mix well.
Scoop the batter into a piping bag or a ziploc bag to easily distribute the batter into the donut pan. Fill ¾ of the way up.
Place into the oven for 12-15 minutes.
In the meantime, melt the white chocolate and stir in the matcha powder.
Let the donuts cool completely before dipping them into the glaze.
