Cuisine American
- 3 Medium Sized Apples
- 2 Tbsp Water or Apple Cider
- 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
- ¼ Tsp Cinnamon
- ⅛ Tsp Ginger
- ⅛ Tsp Cloves
Start by dicing the apples into cubes. You can also leave the skin on if you prefer.
Next, add all the ingredients into a medium sized pot and turn on the stove to medium-low.
Cover the pot and let that sit for 30 minutes stirring occasionally so that no apples stick to the bottom.
Reduce the heat down to low, and continue to stir for another 30 minutes until very soft, brown, and thick.
Then place the apples in a blender and blend until smooth with no chunks of apples.
Transfer and store in an air-tight jar. Serve it with some toast or eat it alone!
