Ingredients

  • 3 Medium Sized Apples
  • 2 Tbsp Water or Apple Cider
  • 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
  • ¼ Tsp Cinnamon
  • Tsp Ginger
  • Tsp Cloves

Instructions

  • Start by dicing the apples into cubes. You can also leave the skin on if you prefer.
  • Next, add all the ingredients into a medium sized pot and turn on the stove to medium-low.
  • Cover the pot and let that sit for 30 minutes stirring occasionally so that no apples stick to the bottom.
  • Reduce the heat down to low, and continue to stir for another 30 minutes until very soft, brown, and thick.
  • Then place the apples in a blender and blend until smooth with no chunks of apples.
  • Transfer and store in an air-tight jar. Serve it with some toast or eat it alone!
