Apple Cider Donuts

All the fall spices are packed into one donut. This donut is super soft and moist, perfect for breakfast or even dessert. Cozy up with a donut in hand this fall!

Ingredients
  

Donuts

  • 1 cup Almond Flour
  • ¼ cup Cassava Flour
  • 3 tbsp Cinnamon Date Spread
  • 3 tbsp Nut Butter
  • ¼ cup Maple Syrup
  • ½ cup Apple Cider
  • 1 Flax Egg
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Apple Pie Spice

Cinnamon Sugar Coating

  • ¼ cup Coconut Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grab a large mixing bowl and combine the maple syrup, apple cider, flax egg, date spread, and nut butter. Mix well.   
  • Then slowly add in the dry ingredients and mix. Do not over mix.
  • Next, grease a donut pan and fill the pans about 2/3 full.
  • Place into the oven for 20ish minutes or until it passes the toothpick test.
  • Once the donuts have come out of the oven, coat them in the cinnamon-sugar coating while hot. You may need to use a little bit of coconut oil so that the mixture sticks.
