This baked oatmeal is only made in one pan and it basically tastes like banana bread. Here’s a healthy breakfast option that will get you excited to get out of bed!
The baked oatmeal trend has been taking over the internet and if you have not tried it yet here is your sign. The one thing I hate about baking is washing all the dishes. Well, this baked oatmeal is only made in one pan and is perfect for a meal prep breakfast. You can easily keep this in the fridge all week and heat it up if needed but I like to enjoy mine cold.
This baked oatmeal tastes like banana bread, is full of banana flavor, is nutty, and of course, cannot forget the chocolate chips. It is also super customizable and you can swap out a lot of the ingredients and add your own toppings.
Why you need to make this?
- Made in 1 pan- Yes, you heard that right, the only pan you need to wash is the one you are making it in.
- Endless toppings- I love the baked oatmeal trend because you can add any topping you like.
- Perfect meal prep option- If you are a student or cannot be bothered to make breakfast every day this is a great option. It tastes just as good 5 days later.
Ingredients Needed
- Banana
- Rolled Oatmeal– I suggest using rolled oats as I have found them to bake better but you can also use steel-cut oats.
- Almond Milk– Any milk/liquid of choice can work.
- Maple Syrup– Any sweetener of choice can work such as date syrup or honey.
- Nut Butter– Almond, cashew, or peanut butter would work best.
- Baking Powder
